Turf Type Tall Fescue
This is our biggest seller for cool-season grass. It's dark-green, hardy, durable, does well in the sunlight, and doesn't require a lot of maintenance or water. We use three different blends of fescue and 10 % blue grass. As a wider bladed grass, it's great to use around your home or business, or for golf course roughs.
Kentucky Bluegrass
Using three different blends of straight bluegrass, our Kentucky Bluegrass grows well in the shade, but requires more water. It's a thin-blade grass that looks like a uniform carpet, and it's popular in Indiana because it stands up well to cooler temperatures. Install it around your home or business, especially in shady areas or with irrigation systems. It's also excellent for golf courses.
Meyer 52 Zoysiagrass
Available from May to September, this is a warm season, higher traffic grass. It loves the heat, doesn't take much water, and is very tolerant to a low-mow (the shorter, the better). The roots move sideways, so it spreads easily and has a tendency to repair itself, which makes it perfect for golf course fairways and tees. However, it will not grow in shade, as it requires a lot of sunlight.
Turf for Any Purpose
Our turf grass is available in very small amounts, which can be used to cover a grave site or other smaller surfaces. We can also provide enough turf to cover 50 acres on a golf course or any other major area.
Small Turf Rolls
Small turf rolls are 16 inches wide, 80 inches long, and weigh approximately 50 pounds. They equal one square-yard per roll, and can be hand-installed.
Large Turf Rolls
Large turf rolls are 42 inches wide, up to 100 feet long, and weigh approximately 2,500 pounds. They require heavy equipment for installation.
